Reference.
We love Fronius inverters. A testament to fine technology, often Fronius inverter state codes evolve with new firmware updates to better accommodate your regional electricity supply or alternative system parameters to ensure enhanced operation. Below are the most up to date (at the time of writing) reference materials used to compile this easily accessible online information.

Hi, I have come across your website trying to locate fault code 317 on a newly installed Symo Hybrid 5.0-3-S. I can’t find this code anywhere or what to do about it. I’ve currently shut the unit down as it appeared to make a big pop noise. Thank you. Status Code: 317 Unbalanced Intermediate Voltage
This indeed is a peculiar Fronius fault code. Direct from the source “Fronius Support” further investigation needs to be carried out to determine whether this is an internal fault or a circuit error. Please contact your installer and get them to perform all basic electrical tests on the DC side with an emphasis on the Mega test more specifically. With these results at hand make sure you have a copy of your inverter serial number if everything tests out fine before contacting Fronius to expedite the process of product repair under warranty.
Can you find a solution for fault 317?. I have the same problem.
Fronius 11.4 Inverter was operating optimally. Just updated Fronius inverter to latest firmware (fro28330.upd) and immediately got: Status Code 609…Configuration Value Out Of Limits . The unit stopped power generation and is displaying the code. This code is not listed on your site. What does this mean and what is the process for correcting the “Configuration Value”?
Here’s the initial insight: Particular Class 6 status codes require intervention by a Fronius-trained service engineer. 609 is a relatively new state code >
Any more updates on the 609 error would like to run the same firmware version fro28330.upd not the current one. Inverter exhibits 609 error as above Configuration Value Out of Limits. My other inverter identical does not have this issue and I can run fro28330.upd firmware without any issue. I can get around this by loading the latest version but its not what I would like to run. Need a solution to this.
609 is a relatively new state code >
Found solution to error code 609. No worries
Hi Mi Roh. My inverter is having the same issue. Code state 609. How did you rectify this?
Anyone figure out how to fix the 609 code?
Had the same issue today. During the update, the inverter “forgot” it’s country/feed-in voltage configuration. Once that was changed (Need 5 digit access code), the Inverters should return to operation. Fronius admitted that version 28300 was buggy and to instead install v28500 via USB.
Did you managed to resolve the issue by installing firmware version v28500/fro28500.upd?
Hi. Recently install a Fronius Primo 5.0.1 Inverter. But we have an Error code 103. We try find where is the error in installation without result. Can you help us to find resolve?
The error may not be with the installation but more so with the grid supply as 103 is “AC voltage too low”. Another possibility to consider is whether the AC cable supplying the Fronius inverter is correctly sized to accommodate volt drop?
Hi I have a state code 447 (Insulation problem) as my installer has gone out of business what can I do?
The inverter has detected a parameter that is potentially unsafe electrically and could cause an electric shock in certain scenarios. Without knowing too much about your scenario, ask yourself: 1) have you had some work done around your system, potentially not being directly related to, which could have caused damage to the electrical circuit? 2) Has there been excessive rain or similar which could have breached the integrity of the electrical circuit in certain areas (isolators, connectors, etc)? 3) Is there another form of damage that could have affected the system? If none of this is apparent, maybe internal insulative elements may have degraded within the inverter. Best still though contacting a local solar electrician to inspect the entire system.
Hi, I have a Fronius Symo 5.0-3-M and just recently I’ve been getting these state codes 314 DC Failure, 509 No feed in for 24 hours, 522, PV low valtage, is there anything that can be done as trying to contact the installers and no-one is getting back to me, they may have gone out of business, what other options are there?
It’s probably best to contact your installer in this instance. If further review is required and your installer has no longer in business find an alternative installer which is an approved Fronius Service Partner (FSP) and can assist with either the device itself (if the error is internally related) or the system in general (if the cause is externally related).
Hello, I have a Fronius 15-240V, it repeatedly has the errors 212 and 213. The cables it’s Ok, but the grid has oscillations, Do you know if we can increase the voltage range? Thank you
It’s possible, though the reason why it isn’t immediately accessible is that Fronius don’t want just anyone doing it. You will need to be mindful of the local network limitations in this case. It can be done by accessing the hidden PROFI menu, you’ll need an access code which you can get by contacting Fronius Technical Support and completing the “Request_for_Access_code_Grid_parameters_Fronius_Inverters” form. Good luck.
Hello, I have Fronius Primo inverter 8.2-1, and already installed at my home. Hi, I came across your site while looking for a solution to the state code 414 thrown by my Fronius inverter IG plus v10.0. Can anyone in the community know what this code is and is it something I can do to solve the issue. Thanking you all in advance for your support.
I have a 452 error on a Sunday. What is it & should I turn off
It’s an interesting fault the 452. The Fronius you have will manage this safely for you until you can arrange more in-depth technical support. If in doubt though, always shut down your system until technical help arrives.
Hi – joining the queue of Fronius queries, we have an IG 15 which is is now just flashing orange with nothing on the screen – tried all the switching on / off AC and DC isolators etc etc…Any ideas?
Error code 426 is showing .What does this mean and can I fix it?
I am fairly new to Fronius Solar system. I have a Symo 5XX system which has the error message 996 – Communication failure. What action I need to take?
How has your Fronius inverter been connected to the internet? Via Ethernet of Wifi? If via Ethernet, check if the cable to your modem is plugged in or not damaged. If via WiFi (most likely) here’s a guide https://solaranalytica.com/fronius-inverter-wifi-reconnect-guide/
We have recently had some work done and had the feed meter moved. The inverter now trips the circuit and when reset it flashes 509.
Potentially the solar supply AC circuit hasn’t been reconnected and the inverter is still sensing the DC solar array voltage.
My fronius fault is 241, the list started with 100 and jump to 300 what happens with 200
Fronius fault 241 appears to be “Arc Fault Detected”. Best to get the system checked over by a licenced technician in your region.
Necesito saber porque mis inversores fronius symo dice limite externo de potencia cuando los conecto en red y bo tiene puesto medidor de energia
Is it possible to self-repair code 457 on a Fronius IG Plus system? Just realised it has not been working/taking the reading from solar gained sim highway the start of March! Any guidance greatly appreciated.
Self-repair in this instance should be performed by licenced personnel only. It’s likely the electrical circuit has been damaged or deteriorated somewhere and could expose you to hazardous voltages. Caution recommended.
My inverter has state 104 on the screen? and showing any wattage.
Hi, my inverter has a 560 code. Power derating is caused by over frequency. I am completely off-grid. How do I resolve this issue please?
Your inverters frequency limitations could be altered or contemplate altering the other generative portion of the supply.
Hello, my inverter says that the Wifi is not disponible. The data manager card is inserted in the slot.
My inverter is showing me orange led with a state code 509, what should I do?
Having the same problem. How did you fix it?

Hello Team, How do I resolve error code 107 on my Fronius Eco? Cut off-grid supply. Restarted the Fronius but the error code won’t go away and the device won’t startup. Pls help.
Hi. Our Fro IG inverter shows a code 421. “Update firmware”. Since this unit it two years out of warranty how do I update the firmware? I know electronics. Thanks guys!!
Update: 421 is an internal error. Likely a hardware comm fault. So far I see no way to repair it yourself.
I have two 15kw Fronius inverters after my installation and try to start AC output at 30kW. It is okay after the past 3 months AC output only 2 to 3kw and error code 318. How to solve this problem?
This status code notifies the user of a “DC back current detected”. If this fault occurs repeatedly, contact your installer and investigate whether the impedance between PV strings and ground is excessively low.
Bonjour a tous svp comment resoudre le probleme 461 sur un symo 20 probleme sur la carte DSP
I received an email this morning telling me that my solar system was not working properly. The following service message had occurred on your PV-System (Home Solar 240.102119). The date is 01/01/2021 at 06:10:56. The status code is 999. Under the description it says “Inverter Blackout Detection – Solar.web did not receive log data within a user-defined period”. Please let me know what does this mean.
Hi, I got the same message code 999 – Inverter Blackout – from Solar Web today, Feb 5, 2021. The configuration is has a Primo 4kW (master) and a 6kW and a smart meter. I can’t find much on 999, seems to be a mystery code. Please advise what this means and what’s the resolution? Thanks.
Data has not been recorded on the Solar.web over a certain period of time. You can adjust the time span under “Settings” –> “Service messages” –> “Inverter blackout detection”. Check the “DATCOM status” on the display of the inverter under “Setup” –> “DATCOM”. If the status is “Error”, contact your installer.
My Fronius inverter 25 kW eco.25.0.3-s my issues error code 475 this problem is coming again and again so please I requesting to you suggest to me troubleshooting point
This is an indication of an Insulation fault (connection between solar module and ground). If this fault is a regular occurrence, contact your installer for a systems inspection for any loose wiring.
Just had a Fronius primo inverter 3.5kw installed the panels are QCells 8 years of age and the State 307 code comes up. Any ideas what the issue maybe?
The DC input voltage from the PV array is too low for feeding energy into the grid. Due to the low level of insolation early in the morning and in the evening, the status codes 306 and 307 are displayed routinely at these times of the day. If these faults occur regularly outside these times, consult with your installer.
Galvo 2.0 after a snowstorm I got error 461 Error in the DSP (digital signal processor) data memory. what should I do? Thanks
If this status code is displayed all the time contact your solar installer. It is likely that you just need to update your inverter’s software.
Does anyone have advice have code state 225 cannot be reset? Changed ground fault fuse twice. Is this inverter outdated? replaced once from the factory. still problems Florida
Hi, I have a new Fronius Primo inverter that is fed from 26 x 335 watt PV panels. The display keeps showing an error 311. We have had overcloud days since the installation and what I can figure from the error is that the DC input from the PV panels is low. Is this normal that the error keeps showing on the display and that the system doesn’t show any power being generated from the panels. Thanks
Usually, this fault rectifies itself and it is an indication of “Polarity of DC strings reversed”. If the fault is reoccurring, it is best to contact your installer for a systems check.
Hey everyone! Has anyone else experienced a comms card problem with Datamanager 2.0? I’m getting no IP lights and I’ve just thrown in a new comms card…?? Fronius Primo 6.0 – ac coupled with Selectronic SP pro. Cheers.
Hi. Recently install a Fronius Titan 2.6 Inverter. But we have an Error code 05. We try find where is the error in installation without result. Can you help us to find resolve?
Hi, my Fronius Primo inverter shows error code 241, what should I do?
If this fault is reoccurring, contact your installer or a Fronius-trained service technician for a systems check. This status code indicates an Arc Fault has been detected.
My Fronius inverter (CL 55.5 Delta 3 phase) experiencing error code 530, recurring. Has anyone seen this before and can offer any insight.
This would indicate a Fan supply voltage exceeding its limits. The Fan is malfunctioning and it would be best to contact a Fronius-trained service technician to resolve this issue.
Hi, I have installed a new 4.2 inverter which is showing that the battery is showing 0’0% and the battery is not loading. Please guide me.
I have a Primo Gen24 and it’s happening every day many errors “1117 (Error) / Long-term mains voltage limit exceeded”. This error happens between 11 am to 14 pm when I can see the solar production graph that it’s becoming a zig-zap up-down line. My panels don’t have in that period any shades or something that can justify this. Can you help?
Potentially try to operate a high draw appliance (load) during this period such as an air-conditioner to pull the voltage down slightly. If this eliminates the issue, your installer should be able to adjust the voltage settings of the inverter with a code from Fronius. Caution should be exercised though not to exceed your local supply authority’s voltage requirements.
