The calculators run in your browser
Every calculator on this site runs entirely on your device. The figures you enter are processed in your browser and are not collected, stored, or transmitted to us.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to updates, we store your email address and your subscription status. Subscription is double opt-in: no address is added to the list until you confirm it via the email we send you. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. We use your address only to send the updates you asked for.
Accounts
Creating an account is optional and only needed for features like saved guides. Sign-in is passwordless: we store your email address and send a magic link, so we never hold a password. If you save guides, we store which guides you saved against your account. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time via the contact email below.
Contact form
If you contact us, we keep the name, email address, and message you submit so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation.
Service providers
We use a small set of providers to run the site: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel (hosting). They process data on our behalf to provide those services, subject to their own security and privacy commitments.
Information our host processes
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, to operate the site securely and reliably. We use this only for operations and security, not to identify you.
Theme preference
Your light or dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device.
Analytics
If we use analytics to understand which pages are useful, we use a privacy-respecting service and look only at aggregate, non-identifying trends. We do not build advertising profiles or run third-party ad trackers.
What we don't do
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
