A dated record of renewable redispatch reductions in Germany. Read the monthly energy volumes alongside who carried out the action, without confusing that operator with the origin of the congestion.
All renewable technologies in this redispatch series, not solar alone. These reported reductions do not cover every economic decision to stop generating. This frozen edition has no automatic collector.
Renewable redispatch energy in GWh. The two series classify who carried out the reduction, not where the congestion originated.

The chart classifies reductions by transmission-network and distribution-network operators carrying out the action. In Q2 2026 these series sum to 508.33 and 1,593.59 GWh, respectively.
Their combined 2,101.92 GWh agrees with the quarterly report’s rounded 2,102 GWh.
A transmission-network bottleneck can be relieved by reductions carried out on a distribution network. SMARD publishes this cause classification separately. The quarterly report attributes 52% of Q2 2026 renewable redispatch to congestion in distribution networks. This is not the distribution-operator share of the chart.
