Operational demand plus rooftop PV at the rooftop-PV peak. A practical read of the grid load that solar is masking at the middle of the day.
Scheduled generation by technology
AEMO defines operational demand as injection from registered facilities. Rooftop PV is not inside that measure, so Solar Analytica joins AEMO's estimated distributed-PV series separately. The underlying-demand proxy is the sum at the rooftop-PV peak; it is not presented as a settlement demand measure.
Technology totals aggregate five-minute facility-SCADA quantities. The current classification separates coal, gas, wind, utility solar, battery discharge and other scheduled generation, with facility mappings versioned in the ingestion process.
