The source file does not yet provide a dependable row-level specification field. Solar Analytica therefore measures the narrow signal the published transition rule supports: battery listings expiring strictly after 31 December 2027.

Inspect data statusBoth series use the same date split and source-retention method. Only the battery series is interpreted through the SA TS 5398 transition rule.
The Clean Energy Council states that Best Practice Guide battery approvals expire no later than 31 December 2027, while an SA TS 5398 approval can receive a three-year term subject to an earlier certificate expiry. A battery date beyond the cliff is therefore a supported transition signature. The file itself does not name the specification, so Solar Analytica does not label individual rows as certified to SA TS 5398.
A battery expiring on or before the cliff is not proof that it remains under the outgoing guide: an SA TS 5398 listing can still inherit an earlier certificate expiry. The inverter series is comparison context only. Listing status does not establish product quality, compatibility, availability, warranty strength or suitability for an installation.
The monthly pipeline runs after the weekly approved-products refresh, compares both aggregates with the prior edition and writes a draft release only when measured fields change. Publication and subscriber delivery remain human-reviewed steps.
The pipeline retains every monthly reading. Email is reserved for a changed aggregate that has also cleared human editorial review.
