What this register is
This is a fixed reference edition of the Australian evidence already carried by Solar Analytica. It is not a claim that every Australian market question is solved. It shows which public record answers which part of a solar or storage decision, how those records connect, and where the boundary remains too weak for a conclusion.
Five evidence lanes
Eligibility, adoption, grid operation, market value and forecast accountability are retained separately before they are joined for a decision.

Eligibility comes before scoring
The Approved Product Monitor retains source-list versions and exact-model evidence for Australian modules, inverters and batteries. The narrow claim matters: appearing in a current file supports legal or program eligibility under the named scheme. It does not establish field reliability, warranty service, corporate solvency, installer competence or suitability for a site. Those claims require their own evidence records.
The Product-Market Evidence graph keeps eligibility connected to manufacturer and market-rule identities without promoting it into a product score. Product scoring remains a separate editorial method on review.solar.
Adoption needs a geographic denominator
The Western Australian layer joins CER postcode records to ABS statistical geography, then sets adoption beside household and population context. Across the 246-area SWIS public-extent screening cohort, the fixed May 2026 edition retains 564,139 allocated solar installation records and 43,150 allocated battery records. That installed base is substantial, but the two counts do not share a complete historical window and neither is a premises-level register.

The live DER adoption map is the operating surface. The SWIS Rooftop Solar Atlas is the citable local reference edition. The demographic atlas retains ABS preliminary, revised and final labels instead of presenting every year as equally settled.
Market value must be marked against reality
Solar Analytica's first-quarter 2026 TBx edition computes the duration-matched perfect-foresight spread index and compares it with every retained NEM bidirectional battery. The median full-quarter asset captured 46 per cent of its benchmark. The benchmark ran 2.7 to 3.8 times actual fleet energy revenue across the five NEM regions. This gap is the reason a benchmark and an observed result must stay in separate columns.

Tariffs and forecasts are versioned inputs
Western Australian regulated residential tariffs are retained from legislation as named A1 and A2 editions with effective dates and source evidence. They are decision inputs, not a universal bill proxy. Consumption profile, export arrangements, concessions and retailer conditions remain outside a single cents-per-kilowatt-hour figure.
The Forecast Accountability register applies the same discipline forward. AEMO planning editions remain fixed beside later observed outcomes. The 2026 WEM ESOO is used as forward-looking context for the SWIS and never substituted for the observed operating record.
Trust status of this edition
This publication has a dependency manifest, structured figure downloads, citation JSON and BibTeX, and a public quality declaration through the Data Trust Register. Its external-review status is open for review. No completed external review or DOI is claimed. The DOI field remains null until a recognised repository or DataCite member completes a real registration.
Corrections are published in the trust register and machine-readable corrections ledger. A corrected edition must retain the affected output, correction date and before-and-after record where publication is lawful.
